I find my self playing light assault 43% of the time (I'v looked up my stats) and in this time I Found that If you are going to be any real threat to the enemy you MUST preserve your High mobility choosing by carbines or pump action shot-guns though they are a bit harder to use at high speeds.
Speed Drifting: Use a jump pad or jump out of a aircraft at high speed's, Face your target with your shoulder or you will lose speed, your shoulder choose will effect witch way you can curve choose wisely, use W, or S, to curve to your target at the cost of speed or aim back to drift left (assuming you choose the right shoulder), be careful this can go wrong very easily, aiming forward will NOT work. This stunt will work far better with drifter's but still very effective with Normal jump-jets. The max ranges off jump pad's from a Bio labs satellite going to the Bio lab for Normal jump-jets are (assuming you have max rank) is 900 meters from the jump pad with a safe landing with out implants, Drifters (also max rank) got me 2400 meters away but i also fell down a cliff at the next base over SO...... You can use this to flank unsuspecting enemies or drop C-4 on vehicles that have no chance to react because you literally FALLING FROM THE SKY.
